Does 'Bond 23' Finally Have It's Villain?

Could Ernst Stavro Blofeld, among James Bond's finest competitors (together with the muse behind Mike Myer's Dr. Evil), produce a return to the 007 franchise? It's possible, states John Logan, the writer behind the tentatively titled 'Bond 23.' According to WhatCulture!, Logan recommended at the potential for Blofeld's large-screen return for your approaching film inside a BAFTA screenwriters lecutre. When someone within the audience asked for the writer of a quote he mentioned previously -- that "Bond should always fight Blofeld" -- Logan responded by repeating the identical factor (getting a grin on his face, surprisingly): "Bond should always fight Blofeld." No, that's not quite a confirmation, but it's something! Ultimately, as CinemaBlend highlights, really the only confirmed cast member by now's Jason Bourne themselves, Difficulties. Ice Cube Still Planning NWA Biopic

John Singleton states he might directIt's well more than a year since Ice Cube introduced he was planning to make a biopic of his erstwhile NWA crew. Meanwhile he's switched out for romantic drama New Year's Eve and performed the Frank McRae angry captain role in 21 Jump Street. But Cube has ongoing to build up Straight Out of Compton, and today John Singleton has revealed he's in foretells direct. This is an apparent match of fabric along with a director who formerly labored with Cube around the epochal Boyz N the Hood. Since that time the kind of Shaft, Four Siblings and a pair of Fast 2 Furious have stored him afloat, and he's lately completed the Rachelle Lefervre vehicle Abduction, in the hot Black List script by Shawn Christensen. His Compton participation is not occur stone - I can not talk too prematurely about this, he told The Playlist - but he is doing state that the script is actually, great, so we are foreseeing it. He adds that New Line desires to allow it to be. Last we heard, that script was at the disposal of World Trade Center author Andrea Berloff, however it appears since to possess acquired S Leigh Savidge and Alan Wenkus, each of whom will also be working together on the new Dolemite movie. Savidge designed a documentary concerning the Dying Row label, the publish-NWA home of Dr Dre, in 2001. Matt Alvarez, Cube's creating cohort from the kind of Barbershop and therefore are We There Yet?, can also be involved. Cube had an acrimonious split from NWA before going after his solo career (he went platinum, bitch, but he did not need to become unattainable), and although he's been reconciled together with his former bandmates because the dying of Easy E, a Cube-controlled Straight Out of Compton still appears one-on the sides. Nevertheless, it's beginning, so there is no reason to suspect that Dre, DJ Yella and MC Ren will not possess some kind of participation somewhere down the road. Additionally, there are the question of casting: any recommendations for Cube like a teen, with some gold along with a pager?

Kaira Pitt Clarifies Jennifer Aniston Remarks

La, Calif. -- Kaira Pitt has clarified his recent remarks about ex-wife Jennifer Aniston. It grieves me it was interpreted using this method. Jen is certainly a remarkably giving, loving, and amusing lady who remains my friend, Kaira mentioned in the statement to get into Hollywood on Thursday evening, mentioning to remarks he apparently made to Parade magazine in regards to a couple of from the troubles that allegedly introduced for his or her split. This is an important relationship I value greatly, Brads statement ongoing. The reason I used to be trying to create is not that Jen was dull, but that we was becoming dull to myself which, I am responsible for. As formerly reported on AccessHollywood.com, Parade magazines Sunday edition quotes Kaira as getting mentioned, I spent the 90s trying to hideout, trying to duck the whole celebrity cacophony. I started to acquire fed up with myself searching in a couch, holding some pot, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic. It increased being very apparent in my opinion that we was set on searching for a film a great interesting existence, however wasnt living an amazing existence myself. In my opinion that my marriage [to actress Jennifer Aniston] had something connected with it, he's reported as getting mentioned to Parade. Trying to pretend the marriage was a thing that it wasnt. Kaira and Jen split in 2005 after half 10 years of marriage. Copyright 2011 by NBC Universal, Corporation. Happy 65th Birthday, Tommy Lee Jones! What's His Greatest Moment on Film?

Joan Rivers may not love Tommy Lee Jones, but as the Oscar-winning actor turns 65 today, we recall only his most lovable moments at the cinema. He debuted in Love Story, but the bulk of his career has been spent playing gritty figures, real-life men of intrigue and Will Smith’s crisply suited confidant. What’s his best performance to date? Like Paul Newman or Jack Lemmon before him, Tommy Lee Jones won an Oscar, but not for his best work. Does anyone ever rent The Fugitive and think, “Can’t wait to watch an Oscar-winning performance”? Jones and Harrison Ford play a suspenseful game of cat-and-mouse, but is that enough to warrant a statue? Over Amon Goeth? I think not. Let’s talk about more affecting work: Though there are certainly strong arguments for Lonesome Dove, JFK, In the Valley of Elah, and No Country for Old Men, I definitely love Tommy Lee Jones most in Coal Miner’s Daughter. Though Sissy Spacek delivers the powerhouse performance as Loretta Lynn, Jones is so believable and familiar as her husband Mooney. It’s also a great departure from the roles that would later define him. This simple exchange between the young couple is a work of art. What do y’all think is best? Be as critical as you want. Here’s what Tommy thinks of your opinions:

Warum Bodhi-Dharma in den Orient aufbrach

Three people live in a remote Buddhist monastery near Mount Chonan: Hyegok, the old master; Yong Nan, a young man who has left his extended family in the city to seek enlightenment - Hyegok calls him Kibong!; and, an orphan lad Haejin, whom Hyegok has brought to the monastery to raise as a monk. The story is mostly Yong Nan's, told in flashbacks: how he came to the monastery, his brief return to the city, his vacillation between the turbulence of the world and his hope to overcome passions and escape the idea of self. We also see Hyegok as a teacher, a protector, and a father figure, and we watch Haejin make his way as a curious and nearly self-sufficient child.

Keira Knightley in 'A Harmful Method' -- Oscar-Worthy or Laughable?

Keira Knightley's bold performance in David Cronenberg's 'A Harmful Method' is splitting experts in the Venice Film Festival, who're finding her role being an uninhibited mental patient "fabulous" or laughable. In either case, individuals who've seen the film agree that her approach is extreme. The film, which stars Viggo Mortensen and Michael Fassbender as, correspondingly, Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung, opened Friday in Venice, and Knightley rapidly grew to become probably the most debated aspect. Variety calls her performance "problematic," stating that her "brave but unskilled depiction of hysteria sometimes leaves itself available to easy laughs." Meanwhile, the Guardian's rater resented the film overall, but authored, "Knightley offers the Oscar bait." Likewise, Britain's Telegraph states Cronenberg "has coaxed a performance from Knightley so ferocious during these early moments it appears prone to get to be the film's primary speaking point. It is also a dangerous strategy, as Sabina's behavior is extreme to the stage to be offending." The Hollywood Reporter's Todd McCarthy concurs that Knightley begins off in a high pitch, but praises her "excellent are a personality having a very lengthy emotional arc" which by film's finish, "the performance modulates into something fully felt and truly impressive." Movieline covers Knightley's hysterics: "It's lots of acting - not good acting - however it sure will get the purpose across" and adds as her character will get better under psychoanalysis, "Knightley will get better scene by scene." Will Canada prove kinder to Knightley? The film hits the Toronto Film Festival in a few days prior to a November 23 U.S. release. Begin to see the trailer here. [via LA Occasions]
