NBC Temporarily Stops Production on Approaching Drama Awake
Jason Isaacs NBC has temporarily stopped production on its midseason supernatural drama Awake allowing more hours to use round the scripts, Vulture reviews. The series stars Jason Isaacs just like a guy who - carrying out a vehicle accident - lives by 50 percent different details: One where his wife died inside the accident but his boy managed to get, as well as the other where his boy didn't survive but his wife were living. ER alum Laura Innes joins Awake Awake, executive-produced by Lone Star's Kyle Killen and 24's Howard Gordon, has completed production on six episodes. The hiatus lasts roughly four days. "We've got [six] scripts and episodes we're happy with, but we felt the show would make the most of getting more hours to plot out where we're going," Gordon told the web site. "It's a very complex show, as well as, since i was not under any gun if this involves delivering episodes having a deadline, we asked for [the hiatus]." Gordon acknowledged "there's a narrow margin for error" because of the complicated narrative, but furthermore mentioned he thinks the break can be a "method of calculating belief in us" from NBC. Awake will debut sometime next season on NBC.
